Elementary Weekly Happenings 1.10.2011 - 1.14.2011

Kid’s Café:  If you ordered lunch on Monday, January 10, (the day we were out of school due to the weather) we will be serving that lunch (KFC Chicken strips with mashed potatoes and gravy and biscuit ) this Thursday, January 13.

February Lunch Forms will be sent home Tuesday.  Please return by Friday, January 14.

Peewee Girls Basketball and 5th Grade Boys Basketball are finished for the year.  Please turn in your uniforms to Melissa Rayner.

6th Grade boys who are playing in the Jones County League have practice Tuesday, January 11, at Southeastern Baptist College.  Game - Saturday, January 15, at Sharon at 8:00 PM.
Re-registration Forms will be sent home this week.  If you need additional forms for siblings please contact the office.  Registration and Capital Improvement Fees are due at the time the application is turned in.

5th & 6th Grade Drama Club will begin meeting each week starting next week to prepare for the Spring Play.  The 5th  & 6th Grade Drama Club try-outs have been postponed to next Thursday, January 20, after school till 4:00.  The due date for contracts (signed by parents and students) has been postponed till Friday, January 14, by 3:00.  

4th Grade Drama club will not meet this month due to the 5th and 6th grade tryouts.  However, 4th Grade Drama club will meet Tuesday, February 1, for the annual 4th Grade Talent Show.  Talent show entry forms will be sent home soon. 

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day:  There will be No School on Monday, January 17, in memory of Martin Luther King, Jr.  There will be No Extended Care that day.

Tuition:  For those of you who pay by the semester, 2nd semester tuition is past due.

Extended Care payments are past due.

Box Tops for Education:  Please send in your empty ink cartridges and Box Tops for Education so we can purchase new materials for the Library.  Thank you!

Board Games:  During cold weather and rainy day weather we have P.E. inside.  If you have any Board Games that are still intact and have all the pieces and would like to donate it to the school please send it to the office. Thank you.
