Elementary Weekly Happenings 11.28.11 - 12.2.11

Prepayment of 2nd Semester is due December 1st.  No exceptions.

Carpool Reminder:  REMEMBER TO PICK YOUR CHILD UP AT THEIR DESIGNATED TIME. DO NOT COME EARLY.  WHEN YOU COME EARLY IT CAUSES TRAFFIC PROBLEMS.  IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN IN DIFFERENT GRADES BE SURE TO LINE UP AT YOUR OLDEST CHILD'S PICK UP TIME!  THANKS FOR YOUR COOPERATION. Dismissal Times:

School Picture Retake Day:  Tuesday, November 29.  Be sure to wear your cobalt blue uniform shirt.  (Navy blue if you don't have cobalt blue)
Friday, December 2:  No School and No Extended Care due to MAISEA Teacher's Meeting.
Christmas Chapel:  4th, 5th and 6th graders will be singing Christmas songs in chapel on Wednesday, November 30th, at 8:10 am, in the sanctuary.  Students are asked to wear a Christmas colored top and their uniform bottoms.  The top may be a solid color or a Christmas motif.  Girls may wear a Christmas Dress.  Family and friends are invited.

Preschool Weekly Happenings 11.28.11- 12.2.11

NO SCHOOL:  There will be No School & No Extended Care this Friday, December 2nd due to the MAIS District Teacher’s Meeting.
Second semester Pre-Pay tuition:  Pre-pay tuition is due for next semester on or before December 1st; No Exceptions.
As the cooler weather arrives; please be sure to LABEL all jackets, sweaters, etc. with your child’s name. 
Tuition:   Tuition payments are due by next Monday, December 5th.  Please send in payments ASAP.
Extended Care:  Extended Care payments are due this Thursday, December 1st.  Please send in payments ASAP.
K4 Immunization Forms are PAST DUE:  Please send in your child’s Certificate of Immunization Compliance (Form 121).  Forms must be signed by the District Health Officer, a physician, or a nurse.  Please send an Original Copy only; no photocopies.  All forms MUST BE turned in to the Preschool Office ASAP.
Christmas Break:  There will be NO School & No Extended Care on Friday, December 16th through Monday, January 2nd.  We will return to school on Tuesday, January 3rd.
Change of clothes:  Please be sure that your child has a change of clothes at school.  Please label all items and place in a Ziploc bag with your child’s name.

Elementary Weekly Happenings 11.7.11 - 11.11.11

December Lunch Forms will go home Monday.  Please return them by Friday, November 11.

Harvest Festival:  Thank you to our LCS families for all your time, effort and hard work that helped make the Harvest Festival such a success and so much fun!  
Food Drive:  Thank you to everyone who so generously donated canned food items!
The Booster Club would like to thank everyone for the huge support we received at the Harvest Festival.  Thanks to all who bought and served food.  Special thanks to Ronald and Meg Eason for providing the food.  
Note from the Library: Thank you for your support.  The library had over $400.00 from the Box Tops for Education program.  Look for new books in all three libraries soon. Keep collecting the Box Tops for our Spring Deadline.

Preschool Weekly Happenings 11.7.11- 11.11.11

Harvest Festival:  Thank you to all who participated in the canned food drive and the LCS Annual Harvest Festival.  
K4 Immunization Forms:  Please send in your child’s Certificate of Immunization Compliance (Form 121).  Forms must be signed by the District Health Officer, a physician, or a nurse.  Please send an Original Copy only; no photocopies.  All forms MUST BE turned in by November 16, 2011 to the Preschool Office.
Thanksgiving Parties:  Each class will have feast for students on Wednesday, November 16thThe K3 Students will have their Feast from 8:45-9:15 am.  The K4 Students will have their Feast from 9:30-10:15 am.  
There will be NO EXTENDED CARE on Friday, November 18th due to the beginning of our Thanksgiving Break.
Thanksgiving Break:  We will be out the week of November 21st-25th for Thanksgiving Break.  We hope you all have a blessed holiday with your families.  We will return to school on Monday, November 28th.
Kid’s CafĂ©:  December lunch forms will be sent home today.  Please return by Friday, November 11th.
