High School Weekly Happenings 11.29.2010 - 12.2.2010

No School:  We will not have school on Friday, December 3rd due to the MPSEA teacher meeting.
Student Council & Honor Society:  The November Service Project will be to decorate Christmas ornaments for the Comfort Care Nursing Home on Tuesday, November 30th from 3:30-4:30.  Students were to sign up with Mrs. Yoder or Mrs. Crager.
USM Representative:  On Wednesday, December 1st a representative from USM will be here at 10:30 to speak with any Juniors and Seniors interested in USM.

(JVB Boys dismissed @ 1:15 & JV girls dismissed @ 2:15)
Tuesday, November 30th: 5:00 Home Basketball Game against Alpha Christian
(Varsity teams only- No JV games)
Thursday, December 2nd: 4:00 Home Basketball Game against CCA
(JV Boys and Varsity Girls will play)
Monday, December 6th: 4:00 Basketball Game at Heidelberg
(JV girls dismissed @ 2:30)

 under “Top Performers of the Week” for his accomplishments in our first soccer games.
Basketball players:  Be sure to turn in your sponsorship forms and money ASAP to Coach Slaughter.
Tennis team:   All students wishing to be on the tennis team may practice with Coach Patrick Tibbs on Fridays from 5:30-6:30 p.m. for $10 a lesson.  You may reach Coach Tibbs at 601-580-1336.
Karate Class:  Luke Hammonds teaches a Shotokan Martial Art class every Monday night at 6:30 in the LCHS gym.   You may email him at hammondskarate@yahoo.com for more information.
Exam Schedule
Tuesday, December 14th will be a full day of school.  
Sixth period will be a study hall, and the 7th period exam will be given during 7th period.

8:00 - 9:15 6th period exam 1st period exam
9:15 - 9:25 BREAK BREAK
9:30 - 10:45 4th period exam 3rd period exam
10:45 - 10:55 BREAK BREAK
11:00 - 12:15 2nd period exam 5th period exam
If a student doesn’t have an exam during the assigned time, he/she may sign out.
