School Picture Day: Tuesday, September 27. Order forms were sent home last week. Please return the order form to your child's teacher on Tuesday morning. Please have your child wear their cobalt blue uniform shirt (Navy blue if you do not have the cobalt blue).
Grandparents Day: On Friday, October 7th, grandparents are invited to eat with their grandchildren. Students that did not order from Kid’s Café will need to bring a lunch from home. Students will meet their grandparents in the cafeteria at their assigned time and be welcomed by Headmaster Rick Bartley and introduced to Principal Lee Sexton. After eating, your child’s grade will be dismissed to their classroom for a short time with their teacher. Afterward, your child may leave with his/her grandparents OR stay in their classroom. School will be dismissed at 2:00. At this time your child may go to Extended Care. If your child will be staying in Extended Care on this day please let the school know by Friday, September 30th. Wednesday, October 5, Laurel Christian School will be hosting the 2011 MAIS State Championship Swim Meet. We are selling ads for the heat sheet, which will be seen by over 1,000 visitors. If you would like to purchase an ad, prices are below. All proceeds will go to Laurel Christian School. Turn in ads to the school office by Thursday, September 29!
