High School Weekly Happenings 2.14.2011 - 2.18.2011

Jog-a-thon:  Thank you to all of those who brought in mailers for our jog-a-thon!  If you forgot to send in your mailers please do so as soon as possible.

National Honor Society:  The NHS will be volunteering at the Christian Food Mission February 21st-25th.  If you are a 10th-12th grader in the National Honor Society and would like to work one of those days, please sign-up with Mrs. Crager.

Dress Code:  As a reminder, students who are not in dress code will have to call parents to bring them appropriate attire.  If a student receives 3 violations he/she will have to serve detention.

Lunch Forms:  March lunch forms are due Friday, February 18th by the end of the school day.  If you ordered lunch on February 4th, please deduct $5 from your March order, so that you may be credited for the lunch missed due to bad weather.

Yearbook Orders:  The deadline for yearbook order forms was Friday, February 11th.  If you have an order form you need to send in or if you are interested in advertising in our annual, please contact Amanda Kennedy at 601-649-4190 or akennedy@laurelchristian.org.

Re-enrollment:  Please be sure to return your re-enrollment forms as soon as possible to ensure your child’s placement next year.  New student applications are now available.  We are not able to reserve any places.

Ole Miss Summer Academy:  Any 7th-9th grade student who is interested in attending the 2011 Summer Academy program at Ole Miss needs to see Mrs. Thompson.  This is a 3-week program that allows students to experience college life and benefit from added academic enrichment.

Box Tops for Education:  Please send in your empty ink cartridges and Box Tops for Education to help with the purchase of new materials for the Library.  Thank you!
