Elementary Weekly Happenings 5.7.12 - 5.11.12

Bravo LCS Players!  Congratulations on a great performance!   Please return any props or costume pieces in the same condition as you received it, by the last Drama Club Meeting on Tuesday, May 8. Thank you. 

Thank you to everyone who made the delicious desserts for the Dessert Theater!  All your hard work helped make this a very successful fund raiser for the school.  Thank You!

Flora of the Flower Shop DVD’s:  You may order a professional video of the show.  These DVD’s will cost $15 and will be available before school is out.  If you would like to order one, please fill out the form below and return the form and your check to the school office by Thursday, May 10!  Thank you.

K5 Graduation:  Wednesday 16, at 8:30 am, in the Sanctuary.  K5 will have their end of year party following their graduation and will be dismissed for their party, in Ellisville at 10:00.  Extended Care is not available.

End of Year Party will be Thursday, May 17.  If you haven't already sent your $5, please make sure you send it in by Wednesday, May 9.  Remember, you will need to bring a lunch that day.

Pre Payments or Semester Payments for the 2012/2013 school year are due June 5. 

Used Uniform Sale:  Thursday, June 7, from 5 – 6 pm.  Set up is at 4:30 pm, at the Elementary School Campus.  Anyone who wants to SELL or BUY used boys and girls uniforms may participate.  If you have any questions you may contact Teresa Martin at 601-580-2579 or 601-477-8956, or the LCS School Office at 

601-649-3999.  (This will be the only sale for used uniforms.)

Preschool Weekly Happenings 5.7.12- 5.11.12

Preschool Fun Day:  Our end-of-the-year fun day will be on Friday, May 11, 2012. (**If you haven’t already done so, please turn in your child’s $6.00 for fun day**).

Preschool Last Day of School:  The preschool campus last day of school is on Wednesday, May 16, 2012. 

Lost & Found:   There are a lot of unclaimed jackets in the Preschool Office.  Please stop by the office to claim your child’s jacket.

Carpool Reminder:  Just a friendly reminder that students should be picked up in carpool line.  Students who need to leave early must be picked up by 11:10.  If you pick your child up after 11:10; you must get in the carpool line.  

May tuition is due by May 5th.  Please remit payments promptly. All accounts must be paid no later than May 5^th.

Extended Care:  May Extended Care Payments are due on May 1st.  All accounts must be current by May 1^st.

If you signed up for Prepayment for the 2012/2013 School year; please note that prepayment for the semester or year is due on June 5^th

Elementary Weekly Happenings 4.30.12 - 5.4.12

Art Students:  DAY IN THE PARK is coming up May 5.  Any student wishing to enter artwork may enter up to 2 works at the cost of $2.00 each.  Artwork needs to be mounted on poster board or mat board (no framed works) and brought to Mrs. Ishee no later than May 2, so she can get them turned in for judging.  Also, any Laurel Arts League or MAIS district winners' entries may be entered.  Also, any previous artwork done at school or home may be entered.  

Day in the Park Training:  This is the last week for our Day in the Park Training. T-shirts will arrive this week.  If you have not yet registered for the race you can do that this week or you can register on Saturday. All LCS participants are to meet at 7:30 am at the double brick columns for pictures. 5k Race begins at 8 am and Fun Run to follow. Good Luck!!

LCS Players present "Flora and the Flower Shop" at the elementary campus Thursday, May 3, 2012 @ 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 each and on sale in the office.

The Scholastic Book Fair is here!  The Book Fair will be open Monday, April 30, through Friday May 4, from  8:00 am - 3:30 pm.

Muffins with Mom:  The Preschool will have Muffins with Mom on Friday, May 4, 2012 from 7:15-8:00 a.m. Mothers are welcome to come and enjoy muffins with their child.
